Gallery 65 on William

Branding created for a co-op based gallery in historic downtown New Bedford, MA. Wanting to stand out from the other neighborhood businesses that emphasized a more period look (New Bedford was at one point the whaling capital of the world), Gallery 65 desired a modern approach that would use their street address (65) as the main focus of its identity. A custom-drawn "65" was created that would be easily legible at both large and small sizes, and the color palette was based off the bright incandescent lighting that was highly visible to street traffic, and the existing navy awning of the building. The branding was then used across the gallery's exterior signage (Taking advantage of it's busy corner location, signage was developed so that it could be seen from any angle to any viewer approaching the gallery), promotional materials and website.
